Way back in 1995, one of my first 'web projects' was to compile the music that the early members of the MMW Mailing List were recommending to each other. As more people become involved in the list, more new music was constantly being mentioned in the digests. With MMW fans having such broad musical tastes, the range of music that was mentioned was astounding.
Before stopping active development on that page in 1997, my CD collection had probably grown to twice it's already out of control size thanks to those recommendations. I've been meaning for a long time now to revive that page, and now seems like a fine time to incorporate that content into this site.
This page is a heavy work in progress and will probably change drastically as development proceeds. Below are just some of my favorites from my personal collection that you might enjoy.
