This was a killer couple of sets at a small little hole-in-the-wall spot in Nashville. Chris and oliver came on first and blew most people away. Then exactly on time MMW came on stage and immediately started spanking out the funk. After set I, I had to go out for a breather as the scene was becoming a little 'pixelated' if you know what I mean. I stepped outside for a couple of smokes, and when I came back we shuffled all the way to the front of the stage. Set II I was on Billy's side, Set I I was over at Medeski's side. As soon as we got back in, MMW retook the stage. Immediately they started with Partido Alto and I couldnt stop dancing or keep the grin off my face. Sorry i dont have the whole setlist, but they were straight junk/jam all night! And even though the venue was pretty damn small, MMW seemed to like it, and they certainly brought the funk! Thanks guys!
