The "unknown guitar player" was David Tronzo.

Airto Moreira's wife's name is Flora Purim, known for her work with Stan Getz and Chick Corea. I could swear I head a Mulatu Astatqe song in there too.... a little later in the show, played off a Middle Eastern scale. Lemme know if I totally just missed that and its a different song.

The second listed "unknown or new song" is in fact Mulatu Astatge's "Yegelle Tezeta (My Own Memory)". The song was showcased in the Bill Murray movie "Broken Flowers".
