| Excellent show, thought I. First set had a bunch of new songs, or ones I'd never heard. I never know the names of the songs, but I recognized 'The Lover.' Second set opened with 'Uninvisible' into 'Smoke' into 'Beeah,' or at least that's how I remember it. I remember 'Night Marchers' being played and a couple more that I recognized but don't remember names. 'Crosstown Traffic' was rocking and was my second timeseeing it. John spoke very well that night and he had a lot of things to say. No extended bass solo but overall excellent performance and probably best I've seen (out of only 4 shows). |

| I was definitely digging this show and really enjoyed the first set. The "5-stop" and "Wide Medeski" (fan titles) to open up the first set were nasty! A really nice Coconut Boogaloo was torn up in the first set as well.
At the encore, John came out doing this goofy little dance. I knew then that they were loose and ready and that whatever was encored would be a solid version. They pulled out a rocking Night Marchers to close off the show. |
