| First of all, there was a thundershower that took place right when MMW was scheduled to hit the stage. So we all huddled underneath the concession area while the rain came down hard accompanied by thunder and lightning. After about 20-30 minutes, the storm passes and a strangely beautiful sunset welcomes the guys onstage. They ease into Nocturnal Transmission as night appropriately begins to fall. I can't remember each song, but I do recall Pappy Check, Ten Dollar High, and Uninvisible played with a nicely funky undercurrent. The closer was a frenetic version of Fire, and Moe opened up their set a few minutes later with their own complimentary version of Fire with vocals. Jimi would have been proud... |
