| A nice contrast in weather to the Birmingham show a few days earlier. Bright sunshine welcomed the guys on stage. Due to herbal essences and flowing brewskis, I can't claim to remember many of the songs. They did have a nice laid back, comfortable approach to much of the material and I remember it being very jazzy as opposed to funky. One thing that made the show fun to watch was that there was a big screen next to the stage and the cameraman did an excellent job showing close ups of the intricate work done by Billy and Chris especially. The final song was an energetic, highly danceable version of Crosstown Traffic which pretty much summed up the metro Atlanta driving scene...thank goodness for MARTA! |
