Incredible Show, as mmw always provides. I was entranced from the opening song of the first set to the encore. The show included a great Partido Alto and an amazing Bone Digger. |

| This was by far the greatest show ive ever seen. Medeski Martin and Wood funked it out so hard i was amazed. Hey Joe, Fire, The Lover, Pappy Check.! Awesome |

| The guys were in fine form on Beale Street. Stellar overall playing, improv, and groove du jour. The Johnny Thundercloud native chanting was interesting. Excellent Hendrix covers of Hey Joe and Fire. Just Like I Pictured It was pleasantly hypnotic, Bone Digger was off the hook, and Jelly Belly was just sick. My new favorite detail: watching Billy's "spin-click" tambourine playing method. Its so nice to see a concert where the music moves you. Sometimes I wonder if I might burnout of liking MMW too much, but last night's wonderful show strongly counters that notion.

| My first MMW show, didn't see Hey Joe coming-- amazing.. I was completely impressed. And John Thundercloud was a VERY unique way to open up the second set. Liked it a lot!! Where's the set list at?? |
